I am an M-A Alum (Class of ’71 with your sister Louise) I stumbled upon your site from a Facebook link and wanted to leave some commentary that really needs addressing by companies that promote more mobile use. I do use a smart phone (longtime RIM user) and yes, I use QR codes and other similar features. My personal issues come from the “abuse” of mobile while driving. Although many features are available to make many services hands-free (bluetooth, voice to text etc.) and then legal in CA) I see far to many distracted drivers, making highway navigation more treacherous than driving home from one of the M-A parties from yesteryear.

With all the use of mobile, I have seen far too many that feel it is just fine to use it while behind the wheel. I hope you will take some time to promote awareness of the distracted driving issues and encourage your website visitors to use their mobile devices wisely, safely and legally. (maybe this is something you have already addressed, but the message does not ever seem to sink in)
